April 18, 2021 Diana and collaborators have received funding for two projects from the California Conservation Genomics Project to sequence threespine stickleback and speckled dace genomes from across California.

April 1, 2021 We officially have two new MSc students in the lab – Emma Kurstiens & Christina Puzzanghera.

January 11, 2021 Lab post doc Andreas Härer gave a great talk on parallelism of shifts in the gut microbiome of fishes at the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Naturalists – check it out on their youtube channel.

January 1, 2021 The first publication from the Rennison lab is out. Great work from lab post doc Andreas Härer! If you are into genomic parallelism check it out in Mol Ecol.

March 30, 2020 Diana and collaborators have received funding for a project from the California Conservation Genomics Project to sequence Arroyo and Tui Chubs from across California.

March 22, 2020 Diana was awarded the Early Career Award from the Canadian Society for Ecology and Evolution, such an amazing accolade!

February 11, 2020 Diana was awarded the Jasper Loftus-Hills Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Naturalists, an unbelievable honour!

We have arrived

February 1st, 2020 Andreas Haerer joined the lab as the first full time member, welcome Andi!

November 1st, 2019 was the first official day of the lab, Diana arrived from Switzerland and started setting things up!
